Pain Management
Edna discusses a topic that is a big one...pain management.
It's a difficult and complicated treatment made much much more complicated by the Feds. Seems there's not enough for DEA folks to do, so they have to go around targeting pain management doctors.

I understand, to a small degree. In the final stages of my husband's cancer he wore up to three morphine patches. He had just started on synthetic herion a week before he died.
I guess in this country they only way you get access to anywhere near enough pain medication is if you have a doctor's note saying you're dying.
We can thank the compassionate conservatives and their morality for this sad state of affairs.
