Ok, Lynne asked, so I do it. There's probably some kind of karmic consequence if I don't, so I'll just get to it:

2. Visit the Normandy beaches of WWII
3. Make a really fine wine
4. See my grandchildren graduate from college
5. Write/video my autobiography
6. Be even more crumudgeonly than I am
7. Bench press 300 lbs.

7 things I can't do:

1. Sing
2. Fix a car
3. Run the 100 yd. dash in under 12 sec.
4. Paint/dry/sketch
5. Play the saxaphone
6. Be a politician
7. Install crown molding

7 things that attract me to blogging:

1. Writing
2. Hating Bush
3. Ineptitude by the Dems
4. The need to know
5. Outlet for emotions
6. Doing more research
7. The arrogance of thinking I have something important to say.

7 things I say most often:

1. Seeya, would wanna beya
2. Swell
3. Pie
4. Pally!

If you're asking me to play, I hate these kinda what I haven't yet done lists. They tend to depress me.

So, I'll do some of the later ones. Please forgive the Crazy that will inevitably leak out.

Attracted me to blogging.

1. A sincere belief that my country is on the cusp of a great decline, and yet, only being willing to make snide comments from the sidelines.

2. A sincere belief that what makes it into the political and national security news is a very small portion of what really goes on.

3. A general outrage that my country has been hijacked by political players and is being managed against the interests of its people.

4. A belief that I view things from a slightly different angle(not always a good one) that gives me a unique perspective from most.

5. I want more than anything to spread ideas 1-3 like a virus of discontent.

6. I'm much more confortable expressing myself through a controlled construct than I am in real life.

Say most often:

1 Now, lemme get this straight.
2 So, What you're trying to say here is...
3 That's indcreible, it's beyond credulity...
4 Holy Crap! will you take a look at that.
5 F***in' Wow.
6 How is the best dog in the world today?
7 See, you're assuming I'm wired like regular people.

Books I would recommend
1 Heart of Darkness
2 Ordinary People
3 Clam Plate Orgy(if you don't know it, look it up. It was the very first of its kind.)
4 Carriers
5 1984

Movies
1 28 days later
2 Enter the Dragon
3 Brain Dead
4 Treasure of Sierra Madre
5 Young Frankenstein

See, I generally shy away from these things because they tend to reflect just how crazy-weird I am. I'm much more comfortable framing my expression around props as critique whether its news or art where I can fall back on my analytical skills when I feel I've gotten too far out there.

Also, another category would be works of art or artists. Let me go with Matisse, Kandinsky(abstracts), Basquiat, and Stiglitz.
