I'm not sure whether to laugh...or cry...at this headline out of the NYTimes:

Qaeda-Iraq Link U.S. Cited Is Tied to Coercion Claim

Officials said an inmate in Egyptian custody made up details about ties between Iraq and Al Qaeda in order to escape abuse.

This guy was handed over to Egyptians for "interrogation" and to get that oh-so-important intelligence that we needed after 9/11. Oh the irony......
