Oddly, I'm going to veer off the playbook here and say... We haven't wrought this. The kind of fucking scumbags who do this shit exist and will keep doing this shit regardless of the political climate or circumstances. In particular,t he kind of father who would leave his daughter to her rapist/kidnappers -- well, that particular model exists all over the world, doesn't it? And oddly, it seems to be mainly Muslim men who opt to write off a female relative once she's been raped.
Yeah. I have a little bit of a problem with that particular facet of Muslim behaviour.
Hmm. I may have to write about this.
